This project involved the refurbishment of the ground and lower ground floor. At the rear an extension was created and a large box frame installed to support the existing back elevation, the Client had a key eye for modern design so part of the beam was left exposed and sprayed with intumescent paint. A new frame-less glass roof with a walk on balcony was installed along with a sky frame sliding system to the rear. A polished concrete floor was laid on top of a wet under floor heating along with linear lighting installed along the corridor. Bespoke joinery throughout the lower ground and a high end new kitchen were all installed to complement the Feature Dinesen Douglas Fir wall. Our contract also involved the landscaping of the garden with a new cantilevered insitu concrete seat and BBQ working area and new astro-turf at the higher level of the garden.
