Highbury Hill

This rear extension involved the creation of a basement and 3 stories above ground. The basement was formed by contiguous piles, then excavated and a reinforced concrete box formed inside the piles. The basement soffit was left exposed using fair face concrete techniques and forming recesses for lights to maximise the floor to ceiling height. Polished concrete was laid on the basement and ground which works well with the installed under floor heating. The ground floor consisted of the new kitchen, 1st floor houses the utility and family bathroom and the 2nd floor a terrace.
